About Us

Coastal Community Foundation, founded in 1987, offers a personal approach to giving that's tailored to each individual or family's needs. Donor funds make grants to a wide variety of nonprofits & community projects. Behind each of the funds at the Foundation is a story about individuals and families who want to make and impact in a wide variety of areas.

Local funds have been addressing needs in Carmel Valley, Del Mar, Solana Beach, Carlsbad and Oceanside. Donor advised funds support nonprofits locally, regionally and nationally in the arts, social services, animals, health, education, the environment and community projects.

Philanthropy is important and through the Foundation, it's easy. We offer a simple, personal approach to giving that's tailored to each individual or family's charitable interests. A donor advised fund provides the best features of a family foundation without the legal and administrative responsibilities.
